Founded in 1982 by George Bluth Sr., The Bluth Company began with a simple dream: build quality homes for Orange County families. From our humble beginnings — a frozen banana stand on Balboa Island — we’ve grown into one of the region’s most talked-about real estate developers.

George Sr. pivots from frozen treats to real estate development, founding The Bluth Company. First project: a 12-unit condominium in Costa Mesa.
Our flagship luxury residential tower opens to great fanfare. The Bluth family takes up residence in the penthouse.

Visionary founder who built the company from a banana stand into a real estate empire. Currently on an extended sabbatical at a private retreat facility, where he focuses on mentorship, spirituality, and teaching lessons.
President & CEO
The steady hand guiding The Bluth Company into its next chapter. Michael brings decades of experience in real estate development, crisis management, and family mediation. He just wants to do the right thing and then get on a boat and sail away. But he won’t. He never does.

A cornerstone of the Bluth legacy and pillar of the Newport Beach social scene. Lucille provides strategic oversight and ensures the company maintains the highest standards of luxury living. She also doesn’t understand the question and won’t respond to it.

Bringing showmanship and innovation to every Bluth Company event. G.O.B. oversees brand experiences, client entertainment, and special presentations. A proud member of the Alliance of Magicians, he ensures every open house is unforgettable. These aren’t tricks — they’re illusions.

Lindsay leads our community engagement and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Her passion for causes — wetland preservation, anti-circumcision advocacy, and numerous others — reflects The Bluth Company’s commitment to making the world a better place, or at least appearing to.

A former analrapist (analyst and therapist), Dr. Fünke brings a unique perspective to homeowner wellness. He throws himself fully into every project and isn’t afraid to put himself out there. Known for his hands-on approach, Tobias often leaves his mark — sometimes literally — on everything he touches.

Our resident cartographer and research specialist. Buster’s extensive academic background includes graduate studies in Native American tribal ceremonies, 18th-century agrarian business, and cartographic science. He has a strong grip on the details. Hey, brother.
